Michele Romanow is a Canadian tech entrepreneur, TV personality, board director and investor. She is co-founder & CEO of Clearco, the world’s largest e-commerce investor and pioneer of a new revenue-based funding model that addresses traditional VC bias. In her role, Michele spearheads the company’s mission to establish equitable distribution of funding, power and opportunity to entrepreneurs from every background. With her at the helm, Clearco has invested $3.2B into 7,000+ companies around the world.
Prior to Clearco, Michele started six companies before 35. She co-founded SnapSaves, acquired by Groupon, and Buytopia.ca, which acquired ten competitors and is now Emerge Commerce. In 2015, Michele became the youngest Dragon on Dragons’ Den. Michele has been named Fortune’s 40 under 40, a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum, one of Canada’s Most Powerful Women and Canada’s Angel Investor of the Year.
