Pranavi Suthagar

Pranavi Suthagar is a multidisciplinary artist based in Tkaronto (Toronto). She is a tenant of the HXOUSE program and OCAD U graduate. Her practice explores themes of identity, placemaking and empowering ones community. A core tenant of her work involves exploring her personal perspective informed by her bicultural identity as a Tamil woman. Suthagar has notably been featured on platforms such as the BBC, Refinery29 and Times of India. And she is the co-founder of the organization Parvai, which aims to empower underserved South Asian women and non-binary people explore a career in the arts.
