Ali Hassan is a comedian, actor, author, and broadcaster. He hosts CBC Radio’s Laugh Out Loud and The Next Chapter, and has hosted Canada Reads for eight years. A nominee for Canadian Screen Awards and Canadian Comedy Awards, Ali has appeared in films like French Immersion, Goon, and Tammy’s Always Dying, and is currently featured in TV shows Run The Burbs and Sort Of.

Ali has performed at Just For Laughs festivals and toured with the ‘Comedy Night In Canada’ tour. His solo show Muslim Interrupted received acclaim in Canada and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. His memoir, ‘Is There Bacon in Heaven?’ was released in 2022, and in 2023, he started touring his new show, Does This Taste Funny?
