Dr. David Babson is the Executive Vice President for Climate & Energy at XPRIZE, leading ambitious prize competitions that drive breakthroughs toward an abundant and equitable future. He previously served as the Executive Director of MIT’s Climate Grand Challenges Initiative, and held key roles at ARPA-E, USDA, DOE, and the EPA. David holds a PhD in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering from Rutgers University and a BS in Chemical Engineering from UMass Amherst.
