learning. His extensive research covers unsupervised pretraining with autoencoders, denoising
autoencoders, visual attention-based classification, neural autoregressive distribution models,
and zero-shot learning. Hugo’s interests extend to applying deep learning in natural language
processing, code, computer vision, and environmental sustainability.
