Isha Datar is the Executive Director of New Harvest, a nonprofit working on developing food from cells. Isha coined the term “cellular agriculture” to describe agricultural products produced from cell cultures rather than whole plants and animals. Through her work she cofounded two of the world’s first cellular agriculture companies and funded 60 of the first cellular agriculture researchers. Today, she works to accelerate scientific breakthroughs and steward technology to serve the public good.
