Joel has worked in the Toronto Tech ecosystem since 1994. He is a serial entrepreneur, and most recently the founder and CEO of Firmex, a SaaS Virtual Data Room business with offices in London and Toronto. Firmex that went though several PE buy-outs (2016, 2019) before being sold to a strategic buyer in 2021. Today Joel invests in and advises a number of founders of SaaS businesses. He is a Board Member at LUMIQ and Operating Adviser to Vertu Capital.
