Peter joined KOHO Financial as its Chief Banking Officer focused on obtaining a federal bank license for this successful client focused fintech. From 2008-2017, Peter was the President and CEO of Tangerine and previously was the Chief Risk Officer, Chief of Staff & Chief Lending Officer at ING Direct USA. ING Direct transformed from a monoline savings bank to Canada’s most preferred “everyday” bank, ultimately leading to the 2012 $3.1 billion acquisition of ING Direct by Scotiabank.
