Being born without a right foot has never got in the way of Marissa Papaconstantinou pursuing anything she wanted to achieve in life. Marissa fell in love with sprinting after being fitted for her first running prosthetic (blade) at the age of 12 and was a Canadian record holder a year later. Today, Marissa is a 3-time Canadian Paralympic athlete, capturing a bronze medal at Tokyo 2020 and two more bronze medals at the Paris 2023 World Para Athletics Championships.
