Richard Socher is the founder/CEO of You.com. Formerly, he was Chief Scientist at Salesforce and CEO/CTO of MetaMind, acquired by Salesforce in 2016. Richard earned his Ph.D. in computer science from Stanford. He is recognized as having brought neural networks into the field of natural language processing, inventing the most widely used word vectors, contextual vectors and prompt engineering. He has over 180,000 citations and was an adjunct professor in Stanford’s computer science department.
