Balinder oversees a team responsible for key relationships with merchants, governments,acquirers, fintech, prepaid, partnership and pricing. Balinder began his career at Mastercard in 2018 as Vice President of Merchant Solutions and in 2020, assumed the role of Senior Principal and Group Head of Data and Services, leading growth in key verticals across both financial services and market development clients. Prior to joining Mastercard, Balinder held leadership roles in strategy, business and strategy consulting at leading financial and technology companies. Balinder holds a Master of Business, Entrepreneurship, and Technology from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Arts, Psychology and Political Science from the University of Windsor.
