aaniin retail inc.

aaniin retail inc. is well on its way to establishing itself as a prominent name in Canada as the nation’s First 100% Indigenous owned Department Store. However, this enterprise is more than a retailer. Founded by an anishinaabe entrepreneur who embarked on their journey with an Indigenous streetwear brand, Aaniin emerged from a firsthand understanding of the challenges often faced by Indigenous business owners. It was created to dismantle these barriers and create a thriving and interconnected community. Aaniin isn’t just a retailer; it’s a launchpad for the aspirations of its vendors. aaniin means hello in Ojibwe and each of their apparel and designs showcase syllabics as the main design focus. Each garment has a QR code to pass on the conversation to anyone who wants to learn!
