Calling All Feminist Creators

Hate, harassment, and abuse are on the rise in digital spaces, and women, girls, and Two Spirit, trans, and non-binary people bear the brunt. Those who are racialized, young, and part of the 2SLGBTIQIA+ community get targeted every day. Recourse and regulation lags behind and people get silenced out of digital life. What can we do in this climate? We can lift the voices for change. Hannah Sung joins us to talk about the Canadian Women’s Foundation’s new Feminist Creator Prize, the first of its kind in Canada, supporting diverse feminist content creators promoting gender justice, safety, and freedom from harm.
