Jennifer has a keen interest in building safe and equitable transportation networks which contribute to vibrant and livable cities; for over 20 years, she’s had the privilege of contributing to this through roles in transportation planning and sustainability. Jennifer’s first project after joining the City of Toronto was managing the short-term trial of an automated shuttle in the West Rouge area of Scarborough, in collaboration with TTC and Metrolinx. The Strategic Policy & Innovation Unit in Transportation Services is continuously exploring emerging technologies and evaluating how the City can maximize opportunities and mitigate impacts in Toronto.
