Angelpreneer: Angel Investor / Serial Entrepreneur / Chip Design Engineer


Raymond Chik is a semiconductor chip design engineer, serial entrepreneur and an angel investor.
He completed his PhD in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto in 1995. Since then he has co-founded several semiconductor start-ups, including his latest in AI HW compute acceleration – Untether AI, most of them in Toronto.
In addition to serving on advisory boards of several semiconductor startups and a venture partner at Network VC. Raymond also served as the founding chair of the Toronto IEEE Solid-State Circuits Chapter. And In 2022, Raymond was honoured with the ACCE (Association of Chinese Canadian Entrepreneurs) Best Startup Award.
