A passionate connector and marketer with 20+ years of leadership experience in Sports and Entertainment garnered through a dynamic career in agency, corporate, and start-up.
Tyler is currently the Senior Vice President of Global Partnerships & Revenue at OverActive Media, a leading sports, media and entertainment company based in Toronto. In his role Tyler leads revenue generation and partnerships across all esports teams, facilities, and OverActive Media’s performance venue project.
Prior to OverActive Media, Tyler spent two years as the owner of TK Consulting and a Co-Founder and Head of Marketing and Partnerships at stackt. Stackt is an award winning cultural and community hub built entirely out of shipping containers in downtown Toronto. Ahead of that, Tyler spent 10 years at Nike in various roles including Global Brand Director for Nike Golf in Canada. It was through strategic work with global counterparts, athletes, events, and retail and marketing partners during this time that Nike Golf became a leader in its category in Canada. Prior to Nike, Tyler also spent four years at Mosaic leading and managing the day-to-day sports and entertainment activations of global marketing partners.
Tyler’s passion for sport comes from an extensive and successful hockey career that led him to Plattsburgh, NY where he not only won an NCAA National Championship but was also recently inducted into the school’s athletic hall of fame. Outside of the office, Tyler is a husband and proud father of three children living in Toronto and continues to both compete in and introduce his kids to sport.
